3. Data collection on this website
This website is hosted as a static site on Codefloe Pages (codefloe.com), operated by devXY GmbH, Neuhofstrasse 3c, 6340 Baar, Switzerland; Switzerland is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission. devXY has appointed Prighter Group as its representative in the EU under Art. 27 GDPR. The servers are run by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany (one control-plane node in Finland); encrypted backups are stored with Scaleway in the Netherlands.
With every request, the hosting provider automatically stores your IP address, browser type and version, operating system (user agent), and the date and time of the request in server log files. This serves the security and availability of the service and the prevention of abuse; the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. According to Codefloe, the log files are deleted from the server after 30 days; encrypted backup copies can remain for up to about a year. This data is not merged with other data sources. More information: Codefloe privacy policy and list of sub-processors.
4. Your transcripts
The app runs entirely in your browser. Transcript files you open, your comments and your exports are processed locally on your device and are never transmitted to us or to any third party.
5. Contact by email
If you send me an email, I use your details only to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete it once it is no longer needed. There is no contact form.
6. Your rights
You have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of processing, as well as a right to rectification, blocking, or deletion. Contact me at the address given in the imprint.
7. Cookies & local storage
This website uses no cookies. Your browser’s local storage holds settings only: language, colour scheme, display settings and your AI instruction text in the app. The app also stores a copy of its files in the browser via a service worker so that it works offline. This data never leaves your device and can be deleted at any time in your browser settings.
8. External content
This website does not load any content from third parties. Links to other websites, including the Buy Me a Coffee link and the source code repository, are only opened when you click them; the privacy notices of the respective site apply there.
9. Fonts
The site uses the system fonts of your device. No connection is made to Google or other font providers.
10. Analytics and advertising
No analytics tools or advertising trackers are used.
11. Supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Denmark: Datatilsynet, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark · datatilsynet.dk
Accessibility
This website and app should work well for everyone, including people using a screen reader, only a keyboard or strong magnification. They aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
What has been done
- Everything can be operated with the keyboard, and the focus is always visible.
- A skip link leads straight to the content; headings and regions are properly marked up.
- Text has sufficient contrast.
- Animations stop when your system is set to “reduce motion”.
- The landing page works without JavaScript and at 200% zoom.
- Every page declares its language.
